The Days Yet To Come

"The golden glow of the sun mixed with the purple of twilight's approach made for a joyful sunset that reminded me of days gone by and days yet to come..."

As I took this photograph, I enjoyed the peace of the birds flying around while the rest of the world seemed to stop and stand still. The magical colors changing in the sky as the sun went down through the clouds were so beautiful - purple, yellow, gold, orange, blue and a slight pink. The trail of the our faithful friend's reflection over the rough waters reminds us of it's impending return. This photo was taken in Belmar, New Jersey at Shark River.

I've just listed this print for sale in my Etsy shop as "The Days Yet To Come". Have a look and... "Enjoy the Beauty in Everything"!

Bird in a Tie Dye Sunset Sky

This just in.... and listed at Etsy for sale in my shop!! I've offered it on a 4x6 post card print. I've also ordered various sizes on Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper and Endura Metallic papers which I'll be listing in my shop when they come in.

This bird was just making a turn as I took his photograph. The sunset was completely awesome and turned all of the colors of the rainbow! I had to name this picture tie dye because it reminded me so much of when I used to make tie-dye tshirts and sell them in a little surf shop at the shore.

This photograph was taken on the Eve of Hurricane Earl at Belmar, New Jersey USA with a Sony A350 DSLR camera.

Friendship and Sunsets

Tonight's sunset was beautiful and in more ways than one. I was fortunate to spend some time with one of the best friends a girl could ask for.
All friends are special, but some friendships only get better over the years. They stick with you, through the hard times and the fun times.
As the sun dropped below the horizon, the sky and clouds lit up all kinds of pretty colors.
The wind was quite strong, probably leftover from Hurricane Earl.
We're lucky to have the beauty of nature to light up the sky with a nice sunset at night and we're lucky to have special friends to light up your life when you need it :) Thanks, Becky!
